Breast shells are worn directly on the nipple and are held by the nursing bra. Before first use, wash with a mild soap and rinse well with clean water. Repeat regularly afterwards.

Breast shells can be worn preventively or in case of discomfort. For sensitive nipples during pregnancy or during the monthly cycle, breast shells can also provide relief. In combination with your breast milk, the shells work on the basis of moist wound healing and accelerate the healing process. The skin does not dry out and scabs do not form.

Each shell is selected, cleaned, calibrated and polished with the utmost care in our workshop in Hamburg. Our work steps are carried out by hand and guarantee the highest quality. Every single shell is absolutely unique and a natural product. The pair of shells can therefore differ from each other in color and pattern.

Recommendations

• Wash before first use with mild soap and rinse well with clean water. Repeat regularly.
• Do not boil the seashells and do not allow cleaning products to stagnate in them.
• Do not sleep in them and avoid wearing them all day, even if you feel more beautiful in them! In fact, while sleeping, you risk leaning on the shell which will then put pressure on the nipple and cause the flow of milk between feedings, which can cause engorgement.
• Use on healthy skin.
• In case of redness, feeling of pressure, it is likely that the size is not the right one. Contact us for an exchange.
• A good position of the baby during the feeding is important to avoid sore, cracked nipples.
• Remove the shell before breastfeeding your baby.
• Do not use if you are allergic to nacre or shellfish.
• Do not use if the shell is damaged.
• Keep out of the reach of babies and children.
